Farm to Stage work ethics

Manthe is from Kansas and has been a theatre educator for 29 years, the past 27 of them at Lincoln. He holds a degree in Theatre from Kansas State University and received his teacher training at Arizona State University where he studied Theatre for Youth. He's been an EMT and a member of the Army Reserve before coming to California.
Teacher, Director, Actor

Mr. Manthe is the Theatre Arts Division Director and Performing arts Department Chair. He teaches Advance Acting Lab, Advanced Drama, Stage craft, Technical Theatre and Design and Musical theatre. He was Lincoln’s Teacher of the Year in 2003. He has also directed three productions for the Edinburgh Theatre Festival in Scotland. In addition to teaching classes, Mr. M directs two musicals and two plays each year keeping his creative mind well exercised. Sometimes, he get's a chance to perform locally or on stage with his students.
Does not live in classroom!

Surprise, he has a real house with a bed and a kitchen that he loves to use when he can. He enjoys cooking Italian food and Mexican but hates to clean up the mess. At home, Manthe makes his life with is partner Danny and puppies Rabyn, Peepo and Rigo. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, shopping, movies and going to as much theatre as he can afford. Manthe loves Apple products like his MacBookPro. Everyone collects something and Manthe loves his puppets. Some just to look at, some to use, all adored!
